An example of our full acoustic design and treatment service…
A basement, dedicated home cinema and adjacent games room. Both of which were acoustically untreated, and very reverberant, due to mainly solid concrete wall construction. We were commissioned prior to final decoration and fit-out, at about the time of building completion.
What we did !
1) Using our “fly by wire” design techniques we were able to model the space/s acoustic without the need for an otherwise expensive site survey trip, enabling us, the interior designer, and home owner to negotiate the treatment type, colour, finish Etc. on an almost daily up datable basis. In turn, this allows for design and finish element changes during the project development, but maintains the required acoustic outcome for the very best presentation of the cinema sound system, and a comfortable acoustic for the games room.
2) With the acoustic treatment scheme agreed, we pre manufactured the necessary broad band absorption panels & “RaTs” bass traps ready for fitting on site.
3) At a time convenient to the owner, we delivered and fitted the acoustic treatment scheme, which, having been previously manufactured, keeps the time on site and disruption to a minimum. Finally, acoustic measurements are taken to verify the outcome.
